Second Graders at Glenvar Elementary just completed their annual Animal Research Project. They researched animals using a google custom search and created powerpoints about them! Check out their work below!
Students in second grade at Glenvar researched and created their own powerpoints about animals. They worked in partners and used a google custom search to search safe sites for animal information. Then they used the facts they found to create at least two powerpoint slides. They learned skills such as saving and opening a document, inserting pictures and text, formatting backgrounds, and using a search engine. Below are all their slides shows put together by class.
I’m dedicating the next two or three posts to answering some Smartboard questions that have been asked since our recent in-services. This is one I’ve heard a lot:
How do I use my Word Documents and PowerPoint shows with the Smartboard? It just so happens I ran across two really great 60 second videos to show you how!
